Bright ginger and tart lemon make a powerful combination in this simple gin cocktail. Make Ginger lemon Fizz without gin for a tasty mocktail too

Ginger Lemon Fizz

A refreshing and zesty drink that’s perfect for summer evenings, brunches with friends, or just a relaxing evening on your patio. Meet the Ginger Lemon Fizz—an invigorating blend of ginger’s subtle heat and lemon’s tangy brightness, all topped off with a delightful fizz. Whether you’re a cocktail novice or a seasoned mixologist, this drink is sure to impress.

The Ginger Lemon Fizz is all about balance. The sharp, spicy notes of fresh ginger pair beautifully with the citrusy zing of lemon juice. Adding a touch of sweetness with simple syrup rounds out the flavors, and the effervescence from the soda water adds a refreshing lightness. For an extra kick, you can spike it with your favorite spirit—vodka or gin work wonderfully here or go without any. The result is a cocktail or mocktail that’s both stimulating and refreshing, perfect for any occasion.

Some tips for a great Ginger Lemon Fizz

  1. Fresh Ingredients: Always use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor. Bottled juice just doesn’t compare.
  2. Ginger Juice: This can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge but its always a better idea to make fresh.
  3. Spirit Choice: Vodka keeps the flavors clean and sharp, while gin adds a layer of botanical complexity. Both are excellent choices.
  4. Presentation: Don’t skip the garnishes—they add a nice touch of elegance and aroma.
