Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Yummy pizza flavours in a breadstick. These Pizza Dough Breadsticks are a delight for all the pizza lovers!
These pizza breadsticks can be made using my Pizza Dough recipe. They are so easy to make and so delicious! Make sure to make a big batch, since they wont last too long.
I used a bottled pizza pasta sauce for this recipe. You can make the pizza sauce at home. Just make sure to use thick sauce, since that makes the shaping of the breadsticks easier.
How to shape Breadsticks?
- Divide the Pizza Dough into 2 and roll out one half into a rectangle.
2. Spread the pizza sauce and the seasonings. Spread the grated cheese.
3. Roll the second half into a similar shape and size. Place it over the first half. Give a cut from the centre horizontally to shorten the length of the breadsticks.
4. Cut 1/2 inch by 5 inch strips.
5. Twist the strips from both ends in the opposite direction to get the twisted shape. You can also just keep them at step 4 and top them with more cheese and bake.
STORING PIZZA DOUGH BREADSTICKS
These can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for 3 days and in the refrigerator for about 5 days. But they wont last that long!
